Phi Mu Night Out is a time for Phi Mus worldwide to come together to kick off a celebration of our sisterhood. On the night of the event, Phi Mu asks our members to make plans with a Phi Mu sister in their area. There is no expectation for what you should do, other than enjoy the company of another Phi Mu.The goal is to engage as many Phi Mus as possible, everywhere, with a fun night of Phi Mu fellowship, celebrating our sisterhood, regardless of the activity.
The next Phi Mu Night Out date is May 4, 2017. Be sure to capture your “Phi Mu Night Out” experience by taking photos and posting them to Instagram, Twitter and Facebook using the hashtag #phimunightout. We can all remember the day that our golden badge was pinned on as a symbol of our Initiation into Phi Mu. From that moment on we would become the custodian of a special emblem conceived in the mid-1800’s and recognized by fellow Greek members and others around the world. It is an emblem we cherish and each member should make provisions for its safekeeping.
Sometimes members or their families do not realize that the quatrefoil-shaped badge is an emblem of membership and that provisions should be made so that it does not fall into the possession of a non-member. Download this short form to fill out and place with your badge or other personal papers so that your family is aware of your intentions for the disposal of your badge.
Initiated members, alumnae and alumnae initiates can upgrade their badge conveniently using Phi Mus online badge ordering website. This system allows members to view and select their badge or chapter guard of choice before the item is purchased. To upgrade you badge, visit Phi Mu’s online badge ordering website.
Phi Mu continues its partnership, the Preferred Precious Metal Exchange Program, with A Gold House, Inc. The owners of A Gold House, Steven Short and Deborah Channell, are well-known and trusted friends within the National Panhellenic Conference, having manufactured official badges and accessory jewelry for many NPC groups over the last 30 years, including Phi Mu. A Gold House is now offering Phi Mu members their Preferred Precious Metals Exchange Program, buying direct from members and then recycling the materials.
