It's amazing what friends can do to change the world in which they live. In 1852, three young ladies dreamed of creating a place where women could share friendship, build one another up, serve their community, and get the most of their collegiate experience. These friends created our sorority. And, through their commitment to one another and the development of other leaders along the way, it's lasted well beyond their lifetimes. You can be part of our continuing tradition and, along the way, develop the skills necessary to make your own dreams come true.As a matter of fact, there are several leadership opportunities within each chapter and on your campus. It's a chance to put your skills to work with others. We train over 1,000 of our most promising leaders every year and have over 125 alumnae leading as national and area officers. These skills are transferable into your community and have inspired many civic-minded Phi Mus to visit Capitol Hill every year to lobby for the interests of Greek organizations.
