National Ritual Celebration Week

Phi Mu Fraternity invites all interfraternal Greek organizations and campuses with a fraternity/sorority community to join Phi Mu by participating in the twelfth annual National Ritual Celebration Week (NRCW), March 3-9, 2024. The week also includes International Badge Day which is on Monday, March 4, 2024.

This week was established in honor of Phi Mu’s founding as the Philomathean Society in early March of 1852. Since all interfraternal organizations have a Ritual and/or Creed, NRCW allows us to reflect on, and celebrate, how we as members live out those values.

National Hazing Prevention Week

Each September, Phi Mu participates in the National Hazing Prevention Week educational campaign. During NHPW, Phi Mu chapters across the country can choose to facilitate an educational Phi Mu program about hazing on their campus that is open to members from all student organizations. Phi Mu has also created a supplemental social media campaign, including resources, that chapters can use to distribute information to their campus communities. By sharing this campaign with our chapters and on our platforms, Phi Mu hopes to continue the conversation about hazing on a national and local level.

Phi Mu also provides each chapter with an annual program and course to combat hazing. Through these programs, members define hazing, examine hazing behaviors and think critically about the new member experience. These outcomes lead to a stronger and safer sisterhood.
